We picked this mirror up from our local charity shop for not an awful lot of money. It started life in quite a gaudy gold and has now been transformed using numerous Frenchic Paint products and techniques. We opted for a subtle effect with this one and started with Frenchic Paint Al Fresco Range Swanky Pants, blended into Dazzle Me. We then used a touch of Defining Wax to bring out the detail, a light dry brush with Dazzle Me and just a hint of Sexy Silver Frensheen mixed with Clear Wax to add further definition to the edges and job done!!
A mirror with some lovely detail like this, is a perfect and inexpensive way to try out different techniques that you wouldn't necessarily jump straight in to trying on your furniture and can make a lovely addition to your home.
We're hoping to restart our Frenchic Techniques Workshop soon, which introduces you to some of the products and techniques used here. There's no end to the painting possibilities then!!
Here's another mirror transformation from a couple of months back, using Frenchic Paint Lazy Range Plum Pudding, Hornblower, Crystal Blue and Al Fresco Range Steel Teal, along with Browning Wax and Cool Copper Frensheen.
